I am helping a buddy put together a 66 Bonneville and he has a pair of shorty's mounted that are obnoxiously loud. I want to replace them with stock mufflers - anyone have an extra set laying around they want to part with?

Emgo makes really nice replicas for less than you can get rusted out beat up originals for.

There are others available as well, better quality, higher price.

I did a few searches on EMGO and found the muffler I want but could not get to a distributor list - any idea where I could find these?

The really nice originals are $185 each.

Good English made repros are $240 for a pair.

I don't have prices at hand for the Taiwanese repros, but they are quite a bit less expensive.
