Cat: I'm going to try and go all three days. A friend of mine who has a '69 Bonnie, '72 Norton Commando and is currently building a '75 Norton Mk III Interstate is going to go if he doesn't have to work on Saturday. You and I live only a few blocks apart, we should ride up there together. I'll drive slow so your BSA can keep up. Yuk, yuk! Jeff :-D

boy, i'd love to ride my beezer up there for the friday night ride, but i'm hesitant about coming back in the dark. the bsa seems to be running fine but that's on short rides of an hour or so. the throttle stuck yesterday but popped back to where it supposed to be after i cut it off. also, the clutch seems a little misadjusted-- i can't seem to get it just right. maybe the cable is stretched. 60 miles on the bsa is a long ride on the highway for the old girl. sounds like i'm whining. i guess i am.
i for sure am going Sat & Sun: i want to take my speedy Sat and i'll probably ride my kaw voyager Sunday, since my wife will be on the back. she prefers the comfort of the rolling couch.
how did the norton run on the trip to ohio? maybe i could tag along friday night w/ you guy on my speedy?

Cat: Sorry I haven't gotten back to you earlier, but things have been nuts and I wasn't sure what my schedule for the weekend was going to be. I'm cutting out of work early on Friday. In fact I'm thinking of dressing casual on Friday and riding one of my bikes to work and leaving from there so I can make it to Marne in time for the dinner ride. If my Norton is running again by then I'll take it. If not then I'll take my '70 Bonnie. I guess they're leaving at 6:30 and riding to Elkhorn Iowa for dinner. You should come. I didn't make it to mid-Ohio on my Norton. I made it 139 miles and redeveloped a massive oil leak and had to turn back. If we ever get to meet I'll tell you the whole sorry tale. I'm going up to Marne again on Sat., but I have to be back by 7:00 P.M. to help staff the Omaha Blues Society booth at the Playing With Fire Concert Series down on the river at Lewis and Clark Landing. Should be a great night of music with John Crews, Walter Trout and Deborah Coleman. It's free and open to the public. Usually 3 to 4 thousand people show up. Get a hold of me and lets try to get together! I'm going to try to ride up there again on Sun., but my mom is 86 and in the hospital so if she gets out between now and then I need to run her around for errands etc.. Take care! Jeff :-D

Cat: Yep I got my Norton back and it is running well so far. I'm going to try to reach my friend Rich today and see if he's found out yet whether he's going to have to work Sat. or not. Either way I'm up for meeting at Breeze at 9:30 Sat. and heading to Marne. If I was taking my '70 Bonnie I'd prefer we ride via Hwy. 6 or something. Since (knock on wood) I plan to take the Norton I-80 is ok if you prefer. I like the scenery on the two lanes better and it's a more relaxed pace, but I"m game either way. Jeff

Cat: Rich isn't going to go to Marne until Sunday. I'll meet you guys at Breeze at 9:30 tomorrow morning. I hope your other half is feeling better! Jeff
