For your enjoyment about 60 pics, go to:

(big images, so considerable load time)
This past weekend, I took the family to the Barber Historic Motorcycle museum with AHRMA racing and numerous festivities... including an appearance by John Surtees... doing laps in his championship Ferrari... forget ill health & old age!!

I was also astounded to watch Jeff Smith (former 2 time world MX champion on BSAs... now age 72) win at motocross. Last time I saw him was when I ran a 6 days qualifier in Alabama more than 20 years ago and was amazed to see him crush the younger competition in his Special Test... he was in his 50's then!

Lots of great road racing, tons of beautiful bikes ridden to the event... and many tales told of the good old days.
We will be there next year for sure!
Best to all,
GCoastDave

Nice.

That "VIRUS" wasn't there in August, also a few others have changed (they rotate all the time).

I see they had the ground floor (somewhat) open for viewing, it was closed when I was there.

Great pix.

Wow thats an amazing museum. Puts our National Motorcycle Museum to shame.
