Does anyone have a Thruxton they have stripped to only essentials? I've been sitting on the creeper staring at mine and have some interesting ideas.

Also anyone fitted the high "Shark" pipes? Are they available in ceramic coated black?

Thanks

Yeah, I was trying to figure out a kickstarter for the thing, then I could dump most of the junk under the seat and the starter motor. Clean up the handlebars. Use a microswitch in place of the rear pressure switch, cut off that hunk of metal. Smaller oil cooler.
Then I remember that the rationale for buying this thing was to have something to ride while I renewed my 68 daily rider without having to put together the Norton or a bitza out of the pile, a bike with an electric start because of my semi-gimpy right leg. But I have it built in my head.
