All was good , last night, ran great! I go to start her up this afternoon , and only one cylinder fires.
Checked for a foul, blew them bothout. Checked gas , ok, spark , ok, switched wires , still only # 2. (boyer , w/ a single 12v.) Stumped I looked @ the valve adjustment , seems ok.Observing all valves , they seem to be working at the right times. Is it possible, I have bent a tappet?

I don't want to believe it's something like a hole in the piston, (checked for compression, good), or blew the new rings out.

Rick,
Did you swap the plugs between cylinders as well?

Smell gas on both plugs? Do you get a trickle from both carbs when you tickle them?

Yes , and no. The # 1 cyl., even after the rebuild, trickles much lighter than #2. Changed the lines.I feel there is a problem w/ the petcock, but the plug on #1 is wet.

I'll switch plugs and post results, thanks for the replys
