I checked and checked again and the camplate is set correct and quadrant set on 2nd but I still can not change gears either up or down.I'm lost and ready to scream uncle on this subject.I still wish to do my own work.Just don't know which way to go.I miss riding if any one has an idea I need one.Thanks for all he help.I'm still new to some of this.

On your rebuild, did you take the entire gearbox apart? What about the outer gearbox cover? Is the shifter not moving at all?
