I have a 71 oif frame and want to put a disk brake front end on it. I have seen some parts but didn't' know what will fit and if not why not. What I have is just the empty tube on the frame. I 've seen everything form sportster to new double disk brake front ends on custom bikes. What years will work? Will a disk brake wheel fit in the swing arm of 71? If not will a newer swing fit this frame? I don't have my heart set on this frame but the new ones are rare and hi. Would the older frames with bolt on rear ends be even less likely to work with newer parts?

I have what I believe is a '75 OIF without an engine. It has front AND rear discs.

Very rough and rusty, but fully rebuildable (all the expensive pieces are there).

Drop me an e-mail and we can talk about it. I can send pix.
