A friend has a 71TR6 there is wear on the inside of the clutch inspection plug. I saw this on one other Triumph. Any suggestions on the cause and a cure. Rod

Clutch basket migtht be loosening up, allowing the works to make contact. I'm trying to recall if that cap takes a flat fibre washer or o-ring; if washer, you could try a thicker one IF THE CLUTCH BASKET IS NOT LOOSE.
