Anyone know an easily-obtainable shade of cream for painting the scalloped areas on the tank badges of a 68 Bonneville? There's no paint left on mine to do a match with.

I think what I'd do if it wasn't a show bike is take a look at some pictures of one on the albums or the net. Then I'd try the auto parts supplier's and see if I came up with anything close. I think if you are going to order the exact color on the web it's going to be probably expensive being you really need only a little. Just what I'd do, mines a rider, but its clean.

I used Rustoleum Gloss Almond for my 66 Bonneville tank badges. Painted with very small brushes, and matched nicely with what was represented to be a nos tank badge.
