Double checking just to be sure. Which direction do the oil seals for the exhaust camshaft and the crankshaft ( timing cover side) face.? Better safe than sorry. Any help? Thanks Hope to get my knees in the breeze tomorrow

The top seal (behind the points or igniter) has the lip or spring on the inside. The crank seal faces the opposite way
with the cir-clip against the back base of the seal. in other words the lip is and spring are on the pressure side.
This should be the way the old ones are in the cover
