I've got a pair of Cycle Craft after market pistons 020 over. The 020 mark is stamped on the top, however there is no indication as to the piston direction, that is no pointer or "in" indication on the valve cutout. There is a red dot in magic marker underneath on one of the sides where the grudgeon pin comes through. One side of the piston has a bigger valve cutout than the other. I am assuming the big side goes toward the intake to facillitate the bigger valves? Hank

Sounds like a plan to me, Hank. On the 11:1 TT pistons and the T100 daytona, the large cut away goes to the inlet valve, so it would seem reasonable to me.
Roy.

Big cutout = big valve.

Notice the .020 stampings will be readable from the outsides.
