i just bought a grabrail for my 72 bonnie...this is the final peice to make my bonnie complete...however i have never had 1 on the bike....sooooo my question is wher does the back mounting holes in bracket go?? ... it looks like it bolts to the liscense plate holder... top holes!! ... is this correct? ..and the tail light goes thru between the top of grabrail and the lower portion with mounting holes....anybody got a 71 or 72 bonnie with a grabrail attatched? .that can anwser...as my holes dont line up.....looks like i gotta pull some tricks......thankx .....tom

Triumph and min yr 1971 max year 1972 and click on

4 there are three 71/72 bikes for sale that have stock grab rails on them EBAY # 4621737820, 4622958286 & 4621625235

You probably have an aftermarket fender that was drilled for everything on the bike, the grab rail was not on the bike.

Just drill it and go.
