Hi, a mate of mine is rebuilding a T150V & has taken the motor to a local 'trident racing/building legend' to get it built 'just right/blueprinted'.
It has been determined that a new set of cylinder liners are required, but the builder has said that most 'aftermarket' stuff does not disperse heat at the top of the cylinders as effectively as the original ones that were made of Austenitic (sp?) material. (part no 70-8914). So far enquiries of all known antipodean dealers has failed to locate any 'New Old Stock' liners.

Anyone have a set of liners or know of a source?
regards
Cuppa

Try British Only in Michigan(www.britishonly.com) or Domiracer in Ohio( www.domiracer.com). A bit of advice
when making a purchase such as as this. Ask if the item is new old stock or a reproduction/pattern part.

Cuppa, there is a heat dispersing paste you can use during assembly. I can't remember the brand name etc, but it is supposed to work and helps with pressing in the liners [bit of lube sort of]. But once assembled, doesn't do anything but disperse heat [doesn't loosen the liners or anything]. Karl used it on my T150V. I think it may have been a Wurths product but i'm not sure.
