excuse me guys but as I said before i am rusty about general maintenance can you help me and give me the tappet settings for my bike I want to reset them as it has not been used for a time before I got it
And also I need to align back wheel so whats the easiest way to get it straight What do I use as a guide to centralize it

Come on Veggi, you can't run an old classic without a manual! Get yourself a Haynes now.
Tappet clearance (cold) Inlet .008" Exhaust .006"
Yes that is correct, the ex is tighter than the inlet.

To align the wheels I use two lengths of 2"x2" steel angle supported on blocks of wood. The centre stand gets in the way so I block up the side stand until the bike is upright, then measure across to the wheel rims.
You can use the edge of the tyre if you like and it is a bit easier but I like to use the rims.
