For those of you who chose timing - congratulations, you are WINNERS!

This time I actually read the manual on locating TDC on the crankshaft and then 38 degrees using the hole in the back of the case.

Then I also read the Boyer manual on locating the sighting hole and lining up with the magnet. There is definitely wisdom in reading the manuals!

Nervously kick and boom! She fired into life with a single kick. What a delight that sound is after so many kicks before.

What type of frame is that? It has very nice lines for an OIF conversion.

The frame is a custom build by Randy Ilg of Framecrafters in Illinois. They make racing frames, but his design and eye for an OIF conversion is among the best I've seen. He also cut the wassell tank to fit nice and low on the backbone. As a result I have a cruising range of around 300 yards!
