Joel Levine in Atlanta has done 20+ projects for me (20 tachs & 20 speedos) 100% perfect results.

I sent my failed rebuilt instrument acquired from aprivatepeace to Levine to be repaired since aprivatepeace didn't respond to repeated emails asking him for a return address to honor his warranty. I consider Joel's work to be top notch in my case; aprivatepeace not so much...

I'm gonna check out a local guy who repairs Smith gauges. Will post up when done. Has good reviews from locals who've used him.

Hey Jesus...I have only had repairs done by Nisonger on my Smith gauges and I have always been completely satisified. Pricey, but as the saying goes..."you get what you pay for." I'm only familiar with the other repair outfits, some mentioned here, from my buddies so I will refrain from making any comment one way or the other as I have not dealt with them first hand. Again, as Rubone said earlier, Nisonger will take care of you and get your Smith gauges looking and functioning as new.

Yeah I know Levine and nisonger are really good but they are very expensive, it's almost the double of these guys, they have good reputation on eBay but I see its not that good here, well I'm still deciding, thanks.

Gaggs in the UK do rebuilds

But you may find that the American continent is cheaper for you?

gaggs have been going since they were agents for horses and carts

I checked out Auto Instrument Repair here in Chattanooga, TN and they do Smith Gauges. Their rates are the same as Levine's.

Bjorn Sorenson, owner, is knowledgeable and a good guy. He was recommended to me by a car collector and restorer who has used him on his projects.

Cheers,
