Trying to verify if initial setting for Mark II pilot jet needle is 2 1/2 turns out. Seems like I saw that somewhere. Bike is a t140e, later style carbs. I know the Mark I's are 1 1/2 turns.
The tuning leaflet for Mark2s is downloadable here: http://www.amalcarb.co.uk/downloads.aspx. It suggests aiming for a size of pilot jet that gives a pilt air screw setting of 1 1/2 turns out.
