I've made my own wiring harness based on this one: http://raskcycle.com/techtip/webdoc16b.html

Getting all the ignition and charging stuff hooked up now. I am using an Emgo 12V dual coil that has positive and negative leads that both connect to the Boyer box according to this diagram. It also shows a ground from the positive side. Do I need to run that + lead to both the Boyer and ground? How best to do this?

Looking at the diagram, i would run the boyer red wire to the coil, then run a red wire from the coil back to your single point ground location. I would also add an extra ground cable from the rear lamp and from the engine back to the same SPG.
