I was thinking a big mural of Sponge Bob and his pals.

Seriously, I think the color looks good as it is. But only you can tell if it is what you like.

regards,
Rob

I think maybe a little silver. Perhaps scallops or perhaps a strip down the middle a la the '68 Bonneville scheme.

But it you like it, that's all that counts.

Art.

Black rubber kneepads would look good and break up some of the red.

Photos, even if perfect, do not always display chromatically correct on any given monitor. Better monitors can be adjusted to a close color correction, not all have that facility.

To me, knowing what my monitor typically displays, that looks a lot like '69 Bonneville "Olympic Flame", which would look very nice with the scallops in Silver, and then gold lined.

(that's just me)

Tanking Up

First time tank paint for an agricultural machinery painter (no, not Harley D's) from Timaru, New Zealand.

1963wak & lovecuba--

Both Beautiful!

1963--I agree with maybe just kneeguards. Try it and see if you like it.

Paul--It does look like Olympic Flame on my monitor, too (the color also was used on 71 T100R)

lovecuba--How did you do the pinstripe? By hand?

Ed
