T140 Front Brake Hose US or UK Bars

I am starting to put my 77 Bonneville together and was planning on replacing all brake hoses. Just not sure which front brake hose I should buy, I am using handlebars with about three inch rise, would anyone have any advice if the hose for the UK bars would be suitable?, or would I need the longer US bars hose?

Thanks,

Bob

Measure the distance from the master cylinder to the yoke connections.
The short hose for UK bars is 5 3/4 long.
I suspect you`ll need the longer 60-7174 US bar type.

Thanks Caulky, now that I know the length of the hose I can check what I need. Looks like the US bars hose will be needed. I was hoping to avoid having the longer hose.

they are easy to make, or have yoour local bike shop make you one.

I'd suggest bending a bit of coat hanger wire or welding rod so you have the end to end length..
