1966 T100 4speed Gearbox Problems !!

I took my bike for it's first trip around the block after 20 years. Basically to see if I could get the clutch to un-stick. Once I put it into to gear, it wanted to roll some. So I ride maybe 400 yards, go through all the gears, and it's hard to downshift on every gear. Obviously a clutch issue. Had to force it into the 2nd a little. Turn around to come home and the idle jumps up on me. I shut it down and now I can't get it to downshift at all from 3rd.

Any Suggestions??

Stuck into a false neutral?

You really need to replace the clutch disk's with a modern set- would recommend Map for your source.

Take careful note of the 'pip' nuts that hold the springs in their respective cups in the pressure plate.

Mine were color coded with cheap paint to allow each spring and cup to go back into the p/p as before.

You will need to true the pressure plate with these , so take note of the thread count showing before you remove the nuts, this will help approximate original settings, assuming the p/p ran true before!

Okay, i pulled the outer cover off, with some tinkering, I was able to move the gear selector. I can move it from n-2-3-4-3-2-n but not 1st. Is it possible for that gear selector get off a click??
