Swapping rocker spindles without removing boxes

If you are careful you can do it.

Based on discussions on several forums, I came to believe that the valve gear train on my '71 T100R would be improved by adding oil grooves to the rocker spindles. I couldn't shake the idea, so finally did something about it:
