Can't find the thread on stuck kick starter

On my 76' T140, the kickstarter will get stuck on the way down once every 50 kicks. I do let it back up and it will be fine again. I don't think it has to do with a stuck clutch but something to do with the wear of the kickstarter engaging gears ?
I found here a great explanation on what gives and how to fix it, but can't find the thread anymore
Any idea ?
Thanks.
Terry

Always dis-engage the clutch and engage the kick-starter gears by at least one tooth, before you kick.

I always lower the kickstarter until I feel it " engages " and then I kick.
Is that what you mean ?
