Indexing a 72 T100
Trying to stab the gearbox back in the Daytona. Anyone want to walk me through indexing . Searched the threads but all I find is 5 speed Bonneville's. HELP!!

There is nothing to index.Just assemble it according to the manual.If the shift forks are in their right place and engaged in the camplate,you're OK.

Then I missed something. Could only get two gears on two tries at getting it together.

I am confused too.....I have every gear but 1st??? Should I be able to shift through all the gears while the bike is off??
