Tanks from India?

Anyone have any experience with these tanks from India? I'm wondering if it's worth purchasing rather than repairing, cleaning and stripping mine. Thanks.

The fact that the demo tank pictured is covered in crusted rust might just be a clue.

If your tank is pretty well shot, get yourself a previously enjoyed one on eBay and have it sprayed by a professional.

I acquired an India-made tank with my '73 TR7 and it leaked within 200 miles. Bob

It is troubling.

I've had bad luck from used tanks on ebay as well as from buying on the "For Sale-Parts" on this forum.

Are the Chinese doing OIF gas tanks? I've got a Unit gas tank, the fit and finish are remarkably good.

I can only find two companies in India. Both about the same price.
