I have not noticed any negative reflection from the tank only positive ones like making the bike more visible during the day and especially at night where it reflects street and car lights. Beats a black tank or even a white tank in terms of being noticed by drivers because of the reflected light. The tank also provides a beautiful cinematic visual when riding under tall buildings or trees because it reflects the images as you pass by. I usually prefer a full face helmet so maybe that is why I don't see any annoying sun light reflections. When I wear my half helmet on hot days I always wear a pair of sun glasses so maybe they diminish the glare (?).
