I'm installing new fork seals in my 78 t140e. The seal is smooth on one side and hollow with ribs on the other. I need to know which side faces up.
Thanks

The closed side faces up, the hollow goes down.

Thanks Slinky,
This is a great forum.
Hope to get everything back together and back on the road this weekend. Apparently a fork tube with some minor scars on it was enough to cause seal to leak after a short time. Have got a new fork tube and hope this fixes the problem permanently.
