I'm thinking the average 750 twin gets in the neighborhood of 60-65 MPG. It really depends on if you're country cruising at a constant 50 MPH or scooting around town.
I filled up before a country side ride then a highway run of about 15 miles then around town driving with came to 71 miles.I have the two halfs left with gas.Is that about right or useing too much gas.
Depends on the gearing, too...my low-, trail- geared TR7T (with the US tank as standard) has totally run out of petrol after 95 miles. Had to park it up and trudge to petrol station , buy a container, fill it up and trudge back to the bike.
Depends on the carbs...my TSX with the standard Bings seemed to do 75mpg after a motorway run to my utter surprise. The standard Amal Mk2s on my TSSAV are far thirstier ...40mpg, anyone but thank goodness it's got a 4 gallon tank as standard , too !
