Do any of you use safety wire for drain plugs or critical areas where you want piece of mind that bolts will not vibrate loose? Even if you're not racing.

Hi Headtube,
I've wirelocked my exhaust side tappet adjuster caps, this was purely because they are aftermarket and a slightly smaller diameter than the originals, due to this the small spring steel retainers would not work so I tightened up the caps and marked where the wire should go and drilled a small hole about 1.0mm Dia. in each one and lockwired them up.
