Wires off Alternator Question

The two wires that exit the left side of the engine case from the alternator are both Green-Yellow on my 1971 TR6R. The wiring diagram shows one wire should be Green-Yellow and the other White-Green. I am installing a new wire loom with Podtronics and Boyer set up. I did not notice that both wires were the same off the alternator and now want to know if these wires are interchangeable?

If it does not matter then I don't have to remove the case cover.

Anyone know the answer?

Thanks
Bob

No worries.

2 wires = single phase, no matter what the colors.

It might be a replacment aftermarket stator, probably better than the OEM Lucas unit...

They're completely interchangeable.
