Mystery Wire

OOPS! In preparation for my Boyer install I mounted 2 new 6 volt coils and I did not mark all of the wires that I pulled off of the old Lucas coils. I've got 2 connectors with 2 light brown wires (probably white in color 43 years ago) each attached that have continuity to the ignition switch but there is a single white mystery wire. It does not go to the headlight bucket. In the picture it is the middle wire. Help please!

Forget the entire original section of ignition wiring harness including the condensers. It will all be deleted with the Boyer unit.

Refer to the Boyer wiring diagram from now on.

...and tape off any unused white and Brown/wht wires.

Wow! That sure makes it easy. I'm going to use one of the switched pairs to power the Boyer box. The single wire has no continuity with the pairs. Where do you think it goes to? Should I connect it to the other switched pair or leave well enough alone?

Thanks a lot for all the help that you have given.

All you need from your original harness is the switched White wire to power the Boyer box. Everything else that can be disconnected and removed shold be removed. The remaining wires that are disconnected, but part of the main harness, should be taped off.
