Resleeve carb?

Hi all,
I have an Amal 900 series carb which I'm thinking of resleeving. I have about .018 clearance between the body and the slide, is this cause to resleeve? I have not run this carburetor, I got it as an extra part with my !976 Tiger.

Does anybody have experience with either of these machinists?

Amal carbs are back in production with improved materials. www.amalcarb.co.uk probably a cheaper option.

Thanks for that link. The model I need is about $134 without shipping. The resleeving is about $100 with shipping charges, plus, I need all new internal parts. I think I'll get the new.

Thanks again.
