The tiger roars
I've been tinkering off-and-on with this '71 TR6R all summer, and last night I got it out for its first real ride (that is, the first time I didn't push it home). What a blast! (My co-workers are sick of hearing about it) I'll post pictures this weekend.
Still a ways to go, though:
Front brake is purely decorative (Winter re-build?)
Clutch is heavier than a dead priest
Various leaks
Speedo needs to either be fixed or simply removed
Should probably take card apart & clean (also winter?)
Tires (tyres?) are frightening
Rider needs to get used to reversed foot controls
It's been fun bonding with my father-in-law and thanks to all the posts I've read here.
