Another flasher Unit Question

I've searched the forums, and haven't actually found an answer as to where the flasher unit is located. I have a 1979 T140E (Bonneville 750). I've checked just about everywhere, but haven't found it yet, can anyone help?
Thanks!

Paul, it's either below the coils or next to the ignition amplifier behind the left, rear side panel.
Roy.

On the left hand side there is nothing but a 5 wire block, and on the right side nothing but the ignition module..is there anywhere else it might be?
Thanks!

On my '79 T140E it is mounted on a springy thingy on the battery holder behind the left side cover.

I still don't see it! I can see through to the battery, unless I need to pull the airbox half to find it between that and the frame?

Hi Paul,

It should be around there somewhere, remove the battery and look at the area between the coils (below the mounting plate), normally it should be hanging there on a spring.

Paul, your second picture could well be an ELECTRONIC flasher unit. I had one similar on my TR6P. Follow the wires and see where they go. Looking at the first picture, your bike must be a VERY EARLY T140E. The rear brake fluid res is in the T140V position. Your RITA amplifire should be on the left, it was there on ALL T140E models. Someone has done some re-wiring....... looks neat though.
Roy.

The reservoir was lower down on the later bikes, accessed through a cutout in the metal inner side panel, the tool tray was then the full width of the frame.

I bought the parts and 'converted' my bike, it originally had the higher reservoir and narrow tool tray. Extra wiring in the LH photo are earth wires from the rear indicators.
