Starting my bobber build, i have a 70 daytona. I am going to be running a Boyer ignition, tympanium power box, headlight, and taillight, thats it. I am wondering what battery you guys have used on a hardtail build. From the looks of it the boyer ign needs only a .05 amp to power it. Obviously it is a kick bike. I am looking for the smallest most reliable battery. What have you used, whats reliable, and road proven?? Thanks in advance!

My Tiger was over charging batteries till I read what KADUTZ posted here. http://www.triumphrat.net/871382-post6.html No problems since, using a 12N9-4B1. I was originally using a 12N7

In a word, Odyssey. Pricey, but you can get a small one and know it's got some oomph, and can take a licking (you said hardtail, right?) and not break down internally. I've had 'em all, but won't buy anything else in the future.
