Boyer rotor extractor

Anyone know what size bolt is used as an extractor to remove the Boyer rotor? I'm replacing it with a Pazon which uses a metric size, but the Boyer does not. Thanks ever so,

- Zan

I would think it is the same as the auto advance unit, the later standard thread is a 1/4"-28 thread (fine thread), the earlier on a Triumph would have been the 1/4"-26 thread (BSF or british standard fine). I would give the 1/4" 28 a try that is likely it

Cheers
Tyler

I found that the correct size is 5/16"-24 (fine). Your suggestions, Lowbrow, are indeed the sizes for installation of the AAU or the Boyer rotor, i.e. the threaded end of the outlet camshaft, whereas the extractor threads into the rotor itself, pressing against the cam.
