First of all I'd like to thank everyone for all the help I have received from this forum while rebuilding my 69 T100R.

I have replaced much of the primary drive (plates, drum, springs, & chain).

I have searched through prior post and have not found many issues concerning the inner drum.

What kind of performance issues would I expect from a worn innner drum?

Inner Drum? Are we talking about the clutch hub? If so the
splines can wear just like the basket. The wear can cause the
clutch plates to bind up on the splines being a little slow to
release.

For me, when my shock absorbers finally got too old, the bike would not ride smooth when very slow and was jerky off the line. Those little bastards and a b#@tch to change, though! Get ready to learn some new words.

inner and outer drum just use file to make straight again and get rid of sharp grooves.(easy fix)

rubber shock pieces cheap but are pain in a@@ to replace but with little time and Patience can be done with screw drivers and lube.
