That was great but why use a Metisse when they should really have used a '63 or '64 Trophy?

The "new" rider didn't have the cajones to jump an old style bike. He's used to modern dirt bikes (light weight, well suspended). I don't think he jumped as high either.

having seen "the new rider" Colley at the world trials championship riding up sheer cliff faces and rock piles, l think he has got the b***s . l guess he just did enough to cover his fee, l noticed he was not wearing any protection at all.

It was a sudo re-enactment and I guess the helment and pads would have deviated too much from the original. Don't know how they figured the Metisse didn't.

Yup had similar input....no pads....Metisse...no caj's...

I personally think it is a great endeavor. To even try to replicate that ride done in '70 when?

I loved the open pipe sound.

The Pyramids can't be replicated today either.
