rebulding my T140 and have hit a snag

Hello all
First I would like to thank everyone here with the wealth of technical information that has made my life so much easier

now on to the problem

I took my motor to a friend who is far more knowlegeable about triumphs than I am to rebuild the engine. he has dicovered that in addition to other issues I need a new high gear. as mine has worn beond what is acceptable. any idea where to find one? so far we have not had much luck

any help will be greatly appreciated

You mentioned T140, but not the year; it might be important.

I believe the motor is a 1978 T140v left side shift
