Anyone used these color laminated wiring diagrams?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Trium...sQ5fLiterature

I have to replace my entire electrical components on my 68 Bonnie. The Haynes manual is ok but anything that will make the job easier will help me. And for $20 this might save me some head scratching.
has anyone used these? Or is there similar colored diagrams available online I can print out (I searched but couldnt find any).
Cheers.

I usually go over my wiring diagram with colored pencils, one wire at a time, as I build up a wiring harness or connect an existing one. First trace is light as I verify everything, then heavy when it all checks out.

The book is typically the best, although most often the keyswitch connection illustrations are screwy, to put it nicely.

The last wiring I did was on my 63 T100 and I started with a stock harness. By the time I was done I had changed so many things that it would have been easier had I started from scratch. I basically went off a wiring diagram in the book and the diagram that came with the Pazon ignition

Not sure about in the States, but in the UK, there is a company that will sell you a wiring kit for your particular model of bike (wires, connectors, tape, etc. All for £22). You can then customise it to suit your particular needs.
I have never used them myself, but intend to when I rebuild my T120R.

Many years ago, late 70's I think, a friend of mine painted his Triumph blue and decided that it would be a good idea to have all blue wires to match.....

I am not sure if he ever did get it sorted, because not long after, he bought quite a famous bike from the custom circuit at the time (called 'Jaffa Cake') and I never saw the blue bike ever again!
Shame Mr Mackey wasn't around at the time

Wow. Thats a bloody good deal. Thats less than half the price of a replacement harness even when you include air shipping! Ill look into them.

BTW: The guy I bought my 68 bonnie from gave me this brand new harness still in a sealed bag. The bag had a sticker on it that said "1143". He said it should fit my bike. It seems to have all the right wires but all the colors are different from Haynes book.
Should these replacement harnesses always have exact colors? I could probably get this one to work but would probably prefer the right colors on my wiring.

I have one of their diagrams for my British Leyland TR6, great product. I just ordered one for the bike also.
