I have 78 t140. the manual says there are 3 needle positions for the carb needle. Is the needle adjusted by using the 3 slots that the needle clip goes into? Also, how are they numbered? Is number 1 at the blunt end of the needle or at the pinted end?

top notch leaner, bottom notch richer.

move clip up or down to fit needs.

also this controls 1/4 to 3/4 throttle

main jet does 3/4 to full and idle jet does as name says
