'In the eye of the beholder '
Would not say alloy rims , black paint and peashooters scream 1960's.

Hi,

I have a T140E exactly like yours : all original, bought it 3 years ago with 7800 miles, near mint; I bought it in N.Y. State. I put Norton peashooters on it (I have the original silencers but I think they look awful). It is a very nice ride!

Great! Mine isn't as original as the seller thought, but I knew anyway. I really like the MkII Amals vs. the MkI's on a '78 I had back in the day. Did the Norton mufflers affect the way yours runs?

With the Peashooters, it ran leaner.
I changed the jets (presently 230 if I recall) and changed the needle position. It runs very nice but I still would like it slightly less lean; the plugs are more white than tan! Is that the E10 fuel?
