Bushybester's 59 Bonnie

Sorry guys I had to. See the difference in the exhausts. The other one is nearing completion back to completely original.

Some later photos of my 59 bonnie being rebuilt just waiting for mudguards, oil tank and battery box. Old brother just got a big brother. Check out the original GP carbs with remote float chamber.

Only the decals and some minor finishing all most there.

59 Bonnies

This is what I came up with ;started out as a neglected F%^$#*p chopper; front end is bitsa with Frank Forks, a lot of parts were powdered but most of it is rattlecan. mag rebuilt by Hunt. New bearings in lower end and tranny; top end is as I bought it:waiting for a nine bolt top end to come my way.
Edit: $5 a week budget since 1999, got in running in 04, still needs generator work,(lights run on rechargeble batteries),tank rack, front end needs fine tuned on damping. I used to tell people taht 'always wanted a motorcycle, but can't affor it' that if they quit smoking, orcut down a few beers a week, they could have one.

1956 6T 650 Thunderbird, just needs a bit of a fiddle to get it running, I don't plan on restoring it (for now)-

I have one other pre-unit project; it's a '61 TR6SS 650 engine in a 66 Matchless G15 frame, it'll be a "MatchUmph" or "TriumphLess"
