now the reason i really want to know what it is is that today, the customer had a small collection of classic bikes, which hes invited me over to have a ride on in late september, including a 1948 bsa gold star, 1926(?) vincent, and a 1919 triumph which looks very simmilar to the one in the photo

cheers

josh

I almost want to say Royal Enfield. But I'm afraid I'm not familiar
enough with the ancient bikes. At least not without seeing the
motor.

Looking at the tank, bars and light I would guess it was a Rudge.

hmm..although a couple items are slightly differant, might be
changes from year. I'm leaning towards this being a winner

i just knew i wasnt 100% in agreement as the paintwork in the photo matches the one i saw (and will hopefully ride) and the paintwork on the rudges tank wasnt right!

thanks again!

This is an old photo I found of my Father on his ( I think ) Triumph 350. Not sure of the make or size of the bike. Its from 1939 -1941.
