Maggie, the Tucson Tiger

Maggie is a 1999 Tiger rescued from a pawn shop in Denver. I rebuilt her from a wreck and we have covered about 50,000 miles together. The picture is her at Brian Head in Utah.

Here's what I bought on ebay and had shipped to Tucson from Denver.

After working on her for seven weeks, this is what she looked like. I took her on a 7990 mile shakedown ride from Tucson-Indianapolis-Vancouver-Tucson.

And Maggie as she is today.

Why Maggie, the Tucson Tiger, is so special! Why she's special…….

Only two nominations? OK well here's mine.

No real enhancements, no major changes, just a vario screen, 1.5 inch barback risers, a home built heat shield, Oxford tank bag and a Givi top box. Here she is doing what they do best.

Oh, do I have a shot when it was new and shiny and clean? Yes, but it's no different to any other silver (the fastest, most versatile colour) Tiger ....

Here's another well traveled, scuffed and not-babied Lightnin' Yellow '99 in front of an abandoned RR tunnel. God, I love this bike!
