Model: bobber ( was Bonneville)
Eng size: 725cc original now 750cc
Pipes: 1 3/4 I.D. cut to fit bike better (custom)
Seat: old, have no idea when/where I got this from
Wheels: front all H.D. back H.D. rim laced to Triumph conical hub '73
Accessories: everything hand made or one off ideas

And the story

had a beat down '68 650cc frame and a '73 750 engine and said what the h&^% why not built a bobber with all the goodies but showing nothing but bare bones.

I remember my first bike and how fun it was to ride and how i trashed on it. Over the years you upgrade and upgrade looking for a better bike. but you waste more time washing and worry about if someone is going to steal,hit or whatever, when the perfect bike was just like the first, not perfect but it was a bike and thats what I wanted relive on this bike.bring back the joy of riding plain and simple.

-smoothed front folk tubes off '73
-H.d. front wheel, show chrome ,stainless steel spokes,powder coat hub
-H.d. rear ring, laced to Triumph hub, stainless as well
- over the counter pipes,modified to my specs
-Sparxs ignition,stator and sea of internal goodies(not telling you what)
- H.D. 2 gal tank
- pain,t ah yes, just primer nice and easy
- and yes the beer can cover(cover up the oil filter)
- I'm sure theres much much move but I'm done typing.

I hand built this bike every nut,bolt, engine rebuild,wheel lace,paint.
basically everything.

I just wanted a bike that I could ride the h@#$ out of and not worry about washing it, cleaning it, or worry about paint chips etc

this picture is before the oil filter and other changes.

as for the the primer its has a sealer built in it so no rust here, but in time a little rust would only help age the bike nicely

Man that looks the piece, and the idea of doing it yourself is the biggest extra you could have for that type of bike. I have only had my first real bike a couple of weeks now and i am already thinking about my future bikes and that one sticks right out! Post videos if you have any, would love to see her in action :-)

Wow. That is a clean bike man. I love how the proportions of the bike are right. not to big or skinny of the wheel and tire combo and no empty area behind the carbs. Great work.
