Glamor shots (a little old though)

With Thrux headers and Preds:

Now it has a D&D 2-1 exhaust on it, I'll try to get a pic up tonight.

This is my 1999 Triumph Sprint ST 955. I wrecked it in august of last year. Totaled all the fairings and front end. I put a 2006 front end on, black 02 front wheel black 06 rear wheel. It has a high mount 2bros carbon exhaust, and a powerbronze double bubble screen. Custom paint done by my dad and myself using PPG "Oh So Sexy Red" paint and white with a ivory pearl on top. I hand brushed the frame and she looks sweet.

The bike went down at 75mph and lost a fight with a fire hydrant, you can check out my posts on the sprint forum and read all about it. Been an amazing journey and I'm glad she's all back together, thanks to the help of the guys/gals on the forum that helped me rebuild it.

Can I play too??

2003 Sprint RS - only a couple of mods.

* Carbon Can that gives it a great howl when you ring it's neck
* Belly pan - "long awaited useless piece of plastic" My wife's words of wisdom!!

It is the best real world bike that I have owned and enjoy every moment on it..

Custom 2002 CE Speedtona 955i with GSXR Forks

A great bunch of motorcycles!

Year: 2002
Model: Centennial Edition Daytona 955i
Eng size: 955cc
Pipes: Blue Flame EVO3 muffler
Seat: Stock
Wheels: Front: '03 Sprint, Rear: Stock
Accessories: '03 Suzuki GSXR inverted forks, front calipers, and fender, modified charging system for better performance, custom license plate mount, LED turn signals with custom mounts, Speed Triple headlights, LSL handlebar and risers, Pazzo adjustable clutch and brake levers, gel grips, Galfer braided stainless duel front brake lines, and custom TuneBoy fuel map.

The Story:

I purchased the wrecked Daytona on a lien sale from a motorcycle shop that was going out of business as my first motorcycle project. I was riding a TT600 and wanted to try a larger displacement Triumph. It was advertised in the local classifieds as a 2001 Daytona, but I soon found it to be an ‘02 CE. It had been in a front end collision in 2003 and was brought to the shop for repairs, but the owner never came back or paid for storage. I bought it assuming the title was probably salvaged; however, to my surprise, upon getting a new title it turned out to be clean! I had the factory instrument panel, and after putting it on my TT600 to energize it, I found the engine had only 9,500 miles on it! The bike was a mess, with everything covered in oil and dirt, all the fairings and lights destroyed, passenger seat mangled, undertail broken, front end missing including the hand controls and ignition switch, carbon fiber pieces unique to the CE missing, and I had no idea if the engine even ran. After getting all the needed parts and prepping the engine, it fired up after ten seconds of cranking and has run like a new engine ever since.

I spent the next six or so months going through everything and doing all the work myself, with the help of some great TRAt.net members for advice and with parts. I installed an '03 GSXR inverted fork front end with four piston calipers. I had to machine down the GSXR axle nut/spacer on a lathe, receiving the other needed spacer from member DEcosse, in order to use a 25mm axle Sprint wheel so as to use the factory Triumph speedometer sensor. I built a license plate mount and turn signal mounts, painted a set of Speed Triple headlights and wired them up, mounted an LSL handlebar and risers, installed a Blue Flame muffler, modified the factory charging system leads for better performance, painted the GSXR fender, and tweaked a custom TuneBoy fuel map to finish it off.

It took a large amount of time and work hunting down the carbon fiber inlays, Speed Triple headlights and bracket, front wheel and rotors, hand controls, mirrors, tail fairings, and other parts along with doing all the work, but it was an extremely fun experience. It is an extremely fun motorcycle to ride, and the upgraded suspension allows for magnificent control and ride.

First Day (GSXR Forks temporarily supporting front):

After (Pazzo levers not installed):

My 1967 T100R. When I lived in Canada I used to ride regularaly with a couple of friends, and one of them had a Guzzi V7 Sport that he bought new. I always admired that motorcycle, and had been out of touch with that fellow for quite a few years until last summer when he phoned me and told me that he's having to give up riding due to age (he's now 82). He asked whether I would like to have that bike along with another motorcycle that he'd picked up since I'd seen him last. That is the '67 Tiger Daytona that are in these pictures. I considered myself very fortunate, and had the two bikes shipped down last summer. Both were in original unrestored condition, but hadn't been ridden in some years. Since having the Triumph I've had to completely redo the top end with pistons, cylinder boring, and new valves. I also had the clutch and brakes done recently as well, and coated the inside of the fuel tank and mounted new tires. While my original intention was to have the Guzzi - to which I also had some motor work done - I've learned to love riding this Triumph, which starts on the first or second kick even after not running for a week or two. It's great for tooling around town, or for a not too aggressive ride in the local mountains, and I get a lot of thumbs-up on the bike when people who know old bikes see it. The first bike I'd ever owned was a 1965 Bonneville, and this brings back memories.
