Well, after my Palomar ride this last weekend, I wore through the toe slider on my boots...
...so, I'm afraid they've gotta go.
What's the latest and greatest in the boot department? Any deals out there right now?

I've got the SIDI Vertigo's and they are a good protective boot. And you can get titanium toe sliders to entertain your friends with sparks. I got them for my last pair, but never could get low enough to drag, so took them orf.
I like Oxtars as well, however I have read that the new top-of the-line TCX's have the titanium heel protector positioned so that it tends to scratch the bike and it isn't replaceable. Also as far as titanium sliders go, some tracks don't allow them because of the potential danger resulting from riders' attention being diverted by the sparks.
