Was browsing this post and thought i'd throw in my 2 cents. Just bought a pair of Diadora GT2's. Been playing soccer for 20 some years and diadora is the most comfortable soccer shoe i have ever worn. To my surprise...I saw that they make motorcycle boots too!!!! So i figured if their boots are as comfy as their cleats, i want a pair. got em 2 weeks ago. They are more comfy than the soccer shoes!!! Barely needed breaking in. I'm actually thinking of putting some studs on these and wearing them for my games

Have had a pair of Oxtar Matrix for about a year and they are comfortable both on and off the bike. Highly recommended.

I've got a pair of the Puma Brutale boots.

http://motorsports.puma.com/moto/

Unfortunately there is only one distributor in Australia, and one retailer in my city so I was raped on the price. That being said however they are great boots; very comfortable, stable and look a great deal better than the other options. My only criticism is that if you don't have fairly wide calves, you'll find the Velcro top will stick out, and can get caught on things (such as pegs and stands)

If you want something that looks normal under your pants, these are the go.

I'm in the market for a pair of retro yet functional boots. I really haven't found anything that says "Buy Me!"

Anyway, here's a link that has a lot of boots for sale with images... I'm not advocating the site or anything - just the fact there are quite a few boots available.

It's hard to find boots that look cool with street clothes. The Puma boots looks sweet but I can't find them anywhere and they are pricey. This website had a lot of boots. Click
I have the Puma Brutale -- extremely compfortable. Seem to be well made. Got 'em on ebay.

Cyclegear.com is selling the newer model.

One more vote for the A-Star Ridge. The only complaint is they are a bit warm in Summer. Well, that and like all motorcycle boots, they look like kids snow boots under jeans

I've been using the Dainese Quito for my all-purpose riding. They take a few days of riding and walking to break-in but once they do they're very comfortable to ride and walk around in. They also have a suede exterior appearance so they don't look quite so dorky with regular clothes.

I have a very tough foot to fit (10.5 4E) and I am very happy with my REDWING motorcycle boots type 968.
