I've had my Triumph boots for almost 7 years and they are more than shot. Problem, they don't make them anymore and they fit perfect, were comfortable to wear all of the time and walk in all day long. I think they were the all leather expedition, maybe explorer, can't remember. Now I am trying to find another pair of boots that are equal. I just got a pair of Oxtars in the mail and these things are way too wide and not very comfortable. I thought of Prexports, but don't know if they will be any better. I have narrow feet so most boots are to wide. Any suggestions on a narrower boot, sport touring that I can wear for days on end.

I wear SIDI On Road's had them for 8 years so far. I average about 12k miles per year and the boots have held up great. Completely waterproof in all weather, warm, and comfortable to walk in.

I know they are not the sport-style of cycle boot, but I bought a pair of Chippewa's BLACK OILED RALLY BOOT and they are great. I was surprised at how comfortable they are. Also, they are very well made, rugged, and can be resoled when the day comes. They retail for about $215, but workingperson.com has them for $151.95 with free shipping. They also come in various widths.
When I found them for this price I called Zappo's who will sell them for 10% less, so I ended up getting them from Zappo's for about $145 to my door.

I have two pair one Astars Ridge which you can walk in fairly comfortably most of the day - I wouldnn't want to hike in them, but for sights they are great and for riding I wear Sidi Vertigo Corsa for the ankle and heel protection they offer
Highly recommend both

What size Oxtars? I have a pair of Oxtars that I have really enjoyed for about four years. They are getting pretty well worn, with 50K miles on the bike and lots of full days of wear on them. If they are the right size and the right kind, I might be interested in buying your Oxtars from you.

The Oxtar's are a size 10. I just put them on and walked around the living room and knew they were not right for me. Wish they still made the all leather Triumph boots I have.

Hi all...since were on the topic of boots I'm wondering if there is a manufacturere that makes boots in wide sizes BUT that still has a non-workboot profile.
